Se trata de dos investigaciones aplicadas a la gesti\u00f3n del ciclo integral del agua que tal y como ha explicado la rectora de la URV, Maria Jose Figueras, \u201cel acuerdo que firmamos es un ejemplo de colaboraci\u00f3n con valor social que permite la transferencia de conocimiento entre el mundo empresarial y el acad\u00e9mico\u201d. En la misma l\u00ednea se ha expresado el presidente de Ematsa, Jordi Fortuny, se\u00f1alando que &#8220;se combinan dos objetivos, como son la mejora del servicio y la generaci\u00f3n de conocimiento, para crear ciencia aplicada&#8221; y ha a\u00f1adido &#8220;una f\u00f3rmula de \u00e9xito que revertir\u00e1 en un mejor servicio\u201d.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13623\" style=\"width: 1040px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13623\" class=\"wp-image-13623 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/dev-ematsa.6tems.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2022032_ConveniDoctorants-1030x643.jpg\" alt=\"Signatura del conveni\" width=\"1030\" height=\"643\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13623\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Firma del convenio, de izquierda a derecha: Josep Ribalta, vicerrector de formaci\u00f3n doctoral y director de la Escuela de Doctorado de la URV; Maria Jose Figueras, rectora de la URV y Jordi Fortuny, presidente de Ematsa<\/p><\/div>\n<p>La iniciativa forma parte de las alianzas entre empresa y universidad que promueven ambas organizaciones, y que tienen como finalidad conectar el \u00e1mbito de la investigaci\u00f3n y la ciencia con el mundo empresarial y, de este modo, a trav\u00e9s de la innovaci\u00f3n y el conocimiento, conseguir soluciones pr\u00e1cticas adaptadas a las necesidades del servicio p\u00fablico. Tal y como ha explicado Josep Ribalta, vicerrector de formaci\u00f3n doctoral y director de la Escuela de Doctorado de la URV, &#8220;los profesionales que han hecho el doctorado pueden disponer de m\u00e1s herramientas y recursos para afrontar los retos de innovaci\u00f3n de las empresas&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, uno de los proyectos del doctorado industrial de I+D+i se centra en impulsar el uso de t\u00e9cnicas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico e inteligencia artificial para la caracterizaci\u00f3n, an\u00e1lisis, modelizaci\u00f3n y optimizaci\u00f3n del ciclo integral del agua . En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, Ematsa ha desplegado diferentes tipos de sensores y medidores capaces de proporcionar datos de calidad y con gran resoluci\u00f3n temporal del estado de la red de distribuci\u00f3n de agua, el programa de doctorado permitir\u00e1 analizarlos y explotarlos para crear procesos automatizados e interconectados que faciliten la gesti\u00f3n y la toma de decisiones.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio de la calidad organol\u00e9ptica del agua de suministro de Tarragona es el segundo proyecto que impulsar\u00e1n la empresa de aguas y la Universidad. \u00c9ste tiene por objetivo estudiar las caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmicas y organol\u00e9pticas del agua suministrada, para establecer poder determinar cu\u00e1les son las situaciones que pueden mejorarla.
